My Approach

I envision a healthy therapeutic relationship as the basis of my work. From there, I build on techniques to help you meet your goals. With individuals, I practice Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This is a treatment that addresses trauma symptoms. With couples, I use Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFcT). This is an approach to build emotional connection and communication in relationships. Therapy can help you develop new ways of being with yourself and others that last for a lifetime.
